BEAUTIFUL , LARGE , RURAL HOUSE NEAR THE WELLSPRING OF ZAMBRA

A row of three wonderful cortijos near the wellspring of Zambra. The cortijos sit above a very minor road with only an occasional passing car and have vine covered patios out front. The entire roof has been replaced with a reinforced concrete structure, full insulation and traditional arab tiles.

In each of the houses a space has been left for a chimney flue in preparation for the installation of a wood-burner and in theses voids the new roof structure can be clearly seen. In much of the house underneath this structure the old wooden beams have been left untreated whereas in other parts the beams have been newly varnished and the ceiling between plastered and painted.

The location is absolutely tranquil and there is enough land to plant vegetables and to create a garden. At one end of the building is a single story structure which could be replaced and a large lounge created with a roof terrace above offering spectacular views of the Sierra Subbetica.

Mains water and electricity are connected and the property used to have water from a natural spring in the nearby hills, which could be recovered. Broadband internet is available.
